Spring Fashion
Mia was born in July 2005, so that first summer she mostly wore t-shirts and diapers and onesies and very few dresses. Last summer, she was just learning to walk and still crawled a lot and couldn't crawl or go up the stairs in dresses, so again she wore very few dresses. This year, Mia is entirely bipedal and still just a bit too young to express firm opinions on her own wardrobe, so this is my summer. This kid is wearing nothing but so-cute-you-could-die dresses from now until September. Here's how we kicked it off.

(Also, hey, if you get a chance would you stop by here tomorrow? I have this little problem thing and need some quick advice, and I would have posted it today but Friday is Picture Day, and I am nothing if not a creature of habit. Thanks.)

I have bought a trillion dresses for my daughter due in May...Hopefully we'll get to wear most of them.
Mia is so pretty! She looks like such a little girl!

I saw that dress at Old Navy and love it! But I have a boy and another boy on the way, so I will just admire how cute it is on Mia!

She is the cutest!!!!!! I have to say, when I was pregnant and people said, "Oh, you'll have such fun dressing up a girl" I had no clue what they meant, because I was a tomboy form the beginning. Wouldn't you know my daughter LOVES dresses and PINK stuff (the gaudier the better) and she likes to wear that stuff while playing in mud and climbing on trees. The best of both worlds!
Have fun dressing your little cutie!

I kept my girls in dresses night and day from birth until they chose their own clothes. I loved dressing them up!

The matching flower in her hair totally pulls the look together. She's smashing!

I love that dress!! I am soooooo jealous I don't have a little girl to dress up in the gazillion cute dresses I see in the stores. Not that I don't dress up my son in totally cute outfits, but you know, cute toddler dresses are just irresistible.

My daughter is a few months older than Mia, and now wants to pick out her own clothes every day, but she still always wants to wear a "pretty dress" and cute sandals, so you could be in luck and she may just want to wear those adorable clothes for a few years herself!

Love that dress! If we didn't already have a closet full of dresses from older cousins I would be going to Old Navy today, in the rain, to get that dress. So cute. Have a fun dressy summer.

I have to laugh, my husband and I just had a "chat" last night about why the girls closet if full of nothing but dresses and I had to explain to him that it is because that is all I intend to dress her in until she is able to protest (and still maybe even then). She too was born in July 05 and we spent the first year in onsies and then last year she wasn't walking yet until it was much too cold for dresses.
Mia is so adorable, too bad we are on the other side of the country or we could dress Mia and Molly up together and let them play in the dirt and climb slides at the park in their pretty dresses together.
