Jump!

My father-in-law calls this her one-inch vertical leap.  But hey, she very nearly got off the floor once or twice.  For those of you playing along at home, this also has Mia's signs for bunny, cricket, and frog.  Get it?  All things that jump.

That's Van Halen, of course.  I'll use the same clip again when I show you her air guitar.

Love the signs... it looks like she's saying the words too... that's a fun stage, where they still sign but can (sort of) pronounce the words too. My daughter will still sing occasionally (she's over 2 now) but only for emphasis (as in "I'm hungry" and she'll sign for hungry if she has to ask more than once).

She is too cute! I LOVE her signs. Such a smart little girl!

The jumping is adorable, but the signing is the sweetest. I wish that had been something people thought of when my kid were toddlers.

Totally random, but I saw an oven lock in the clip and have searching for one myself....which one is it? Does it work? We tried one that fell apart before we even installed it.

thanks

Oh gosh, I just love it. Even better is that little kick she throws in, just to be fancy. So precious.

Grace had a grin from ear to ear as she watched this, and she couldn't stop saying "That's funny!" What a great video.

That jumping is great! How'd you teach her, cause I can't get mine to jump worth, well, beans.

Jill, we used this one: http://www.onestepahead.com/catalog/product.jsp?productId=325776&parentCategoryId=85183&categoryId=85216&subCategoryId=86200 and it worked fantastically!

mia is awesome ;) and she totally got off the floor at least once!! that's more than my chubby girl can do...she can't get those sausages off the ground!

Awww! She really did get off the ground a few times!

Trevor consistently signs some things and never picked up others so I'm impressed at Mia's signing skills!

Too cute! She jumps about as high as I do...lol!

Oh that is just too adorable! hehe I think I saw the cricket and frog signs, but I'm not sure about rabbit. Of course, I don't know sign language, so maybe I'm confused about which ones I saw, but in any case, this video could no doubt, produce high levels of ovarian torture!!!

Thank You Mia Bean. After weeks of trying to get The Phi to jump. She fianlly did it after watching your video.

Cool, I was hoping for a little Van halen this morning.

Gah! So cute! My goodness, she has so much hair! Poor Sophie still gets called a boy because her hair just isn't growing.

OMG. So cute! I remember my daughter doing this at about the same age -- brings back so many memories. Mia's wavy hair is gorgeous.

BTW? I also remember teaching our daughter the "shake your booty" dance when she was a toddler. And...yeah. We regret that now. Not so cute when a 6 year old does it. Constantly. Eeek. ;P

Oh Beth, that is the cutest thing in the entire world! How can you stand it?
Also, where did that chubby baby go? You have a real grown up girl there!
(weeps just a little)

So cute. That's how Zoe jumps too. How long do you think it takes before they actually make it off the ground?

Dying from the cuteness!!!

No originality in my comments: Love the signing! So cute!

She is such an awesome happy kid. I refuse to believe any nonsense about tantrums and not sleeping.

I'm always impressed with the quality of your videos. Do you use your camera or video camera? What brand and model? Hope you don't mind the nosiness.

I've been trying to comment all day annd it would just not let me. I have no idea why.

Anyway, too cute!

Awesome! She's so cute!

Absolutely the cutest thing on the internet-period! I remember when gabs couldn't get off the ground at that age- yet all the other toddlers in her music class could- I was panicking! No worries- she can even jump on one foot now! Beth, Mia is so cute- do you ever think- man, wouldn't triplets have been the coolest thing ever?

very cute.
